August 2026
Latest release
See exactly who can access or send from any mailbox, a full new home for user mailboxes, a brand new SharePoint section, a refreshed Reports experience, and sharper printed reports.
New features
Mailbox delegate access, at last
See precisely who has Full Access or Send As permissions on any shared or user mailbox - data Microsoft's own Graph API has never exposed, which Tenet now reaches through an optional, one-time Exchange Online connection. One real admin signs in once; nothing else about how Tenet works changes.
Click into any mailbox for the full picture
Both Shared Mailboxes and the new User Mailboxes section are now click-through - open any mailbox to see its size, aliases, any forwarding rule in place, and full delegate access, all on one page.
New: User Mailboxes
A new home under Exchange for every regular mailbox in your tenant, alongside Shared Mailboxes - size, aliases and delegate access for each one.
New: SharePoint Sites
A new SharePoint section listing every site in your tenant - name, link, storage used, and who has access. Click into any site to see the full picture; for sites connected to a Microsoft 365 Team, that includes a clear Owner/Member/Guest breakdown. A matching SharePoint sites report is also available under Reports - pick exactly the sites you want and get address, name and access for each in one place.
Redesigned Reports
Every report now opens with a headline stat band showing exactly what's going on before you dig in - MFA gaps, device compliance, licence conflicts and more, all at a glance. The report picker itself now surfaces a live number on each card, so you can see which report needs your attention before you even click into it, and filter chips show a live count with colour-coding for anything that needs action.
Improvements
Sharper printed reports and PDFs
Printed and saved reports - including Client Reports - now carry the same polished, modern look as the rest of Tenet, with your branding coming through clearly. They also now print cleanly onto as few pages as the content needs, instead of spilling extra content onto a page of its own.
A more consistent look throughout
MFA coverage and other key summary views now share the same refined visual style as the rest of the platform, for a more cohesive experience wherever you're looking.
Stronger platform protection
Additional safeguards added across the platform to keep your data - and your customers' data - even better protected, with no change to how you use Tenet day to day.
Fixes & reliability
- ✓A device-enrollment filter in Reports now correctly reflects who actually has a device enrolled
- ✓Improved stability behind the scenes, so brief service interruptions are handled more gracefully
- ✓Mailbox size now displays correctly for the right tenant every time
- ✓Not seeing a mailbox size? Your Microsoft 365 admin center hides this by default - an admin can enable it under Settings → Org settings → Reports → "Display concealed user, group, and site names in all reports"
- ✓The sidebar now opens cleanly on every sign-in, instead of a couple of sections defaulting open
- ✓Service health moved from Security to Reporting, alongside Change Feed - a better fit for a monitoring view
- ✓The Sync button now correctly re-syncs whichever customer you're viewing, instead of jumping you back to your own tenant
July 2026
A major update bringing new sections, a fresh look, and powerful new reporting.
New features
Pre-connect prospect access
Send a secure link to a prospective customer before you've even set up a formal partnership. Their own admin signs in and approves read-only access in a couple of clicks, and their environment appears in its own Prospects area - no Partner Center relationship required. Perfect for pre-sales audits. Access automatically expires after 60 days if they don't go on to become a fully connected customer, and they can revoke it themselves at any time.
GDAP expiry tracking
A new page showing exactly how long is left on every customer relationship, so nothing lapses without you noticing.
Microsoft Defender alerts
See every Defender security alert for a tenant in one place, counted by severity.
Risky sign-ins
A new page surfacing sign-in activity Microsoft Entra has flagged as risky, so you can act on it quickly.
Legacy authentication visibility
Spot accounts still using older, weaker authentication methods so you can move them onto modern auth.
Instant tenant switcher
Jump between your own environment and any connected customer from one dropdown, with a quick search to find any client fast - no matter how many you manage. Switching is instant, and you always know exactly whose data you're viewing.
Connect all your customers in one place
Tenet now connects to your customer tenants through your own partner and GDAP relationships - the same trusted Secure Application Model approach you already know from tools like CIPP. Connect once, and your customers appear as tiles; click any one to see their full Microsoft 365 intelligence. All strictly read-only, all in a single dashboard, each customer's data kept completely separate, and everything runs on your own partner authority - revocable by you at any time.
Autopilot device tracking
See every Windows Autopilot device across your environment - deployment profiles, enrolment status, and any devices that need attention, all in one place under Intune.
Shared mailbox visibility
A new Exchange section listing your shared mailboxes, so you can spot any that have paid licences assigned unnecessarily.
Powerful new client reports
Client reports now cover far more - stale devices, guest users, Global Admins, a full licence breakdown with monthly and annual spend, admins without MFA, and Microsoft Defender alerts. Generate a complete security posture report for any tenant in one click.
Filter reports by exactly what you need
Reports can now be filtered by type - show only users without MFA, only non-compliant devices, only unlicensed accounts, and more. The cost totals update to match whatever you're viewing.
Print any section instantly
A new print button on every section gives you a clean, branded snapshot ready to save as a PDF or share - perfect for quick evidence or client updates.
Improvements
You'll stay signed in through platform updates
Routine behind-the-scenes updates no longer log you out - your session now survives them completely, so you can keep working uninterrupted.
More consistent Secure Score tracking
Fixed an issue that could cause your Secure Score to swing unexpectedly month to month - your history now reflects your tenant's real, accurate trend.
Compliance Frameworks now reflect your real posture
Framework scores now correctly calculate from your tenant's actual data instead of showing an inaccurate result.
A beautiful new dashboard
Tenet now opens on a sharp, redesigned dashboard - a modern at-a-glance overview of your environment with clean metric rings and a polished look. It's the first thing you see when you sign in, giving you an instant read on security posture, issues, and spend.
Clearer, more transparent sign-up
Before connecting, you'll now see a clear explanation of exactly which read-only permissions Tenet requests and why - so you know precisely what you're approving. Transparency first, always.
A brand new look
A refreshed sign-in experience and a polished, more modern interface throughout - cleaner, faster to scan, and easier on the eyes.
Faster, smoother experience
Live search on every list, sortable columns, and a smoother loading experience mean you find what you need faster. Data now syncs quietly in the background so you can keep working while it updates.
Better first-time setup
A welcoming setup screen guides you through your first data sync, with everything appearing as it loads rather than making you wait.
Handy everyday touches
Copy email addresses and device details to your clipboard with one click, see friendly "2 hours ago" timestamps, and navigate more easily with breadcrumbs throughout.
Fixes & reliability
- ✓MFA status now always reflects the live, accurate picture across every view
- ✓Licence information is now correct throughout - unlicensed users are clearly shown rather than mislabelled, and Business Standard licences are correctly identified
- ✓Configuration profiles now appear reliably, including newer Settings Catalog policies
- ✓Admin Roles and Autopilot pages now load reliably for every tenant
- ✓User and guest lists now load correctly regardless of your Microsoft 365 licence tier
- ✓Every customer tile now correctly and consistently shows that customer's own data
- ✓Syncing no longer interrupts you - the app stays fully usable while data refreshes
- ✓Numerous performance and stability improvements across the platform
That's everything for August 2026 - check back for future updates.
